How often do you look up the sky , Wonder why the star would shine, And How the moon is so bright. How often do you slow down your foot steps, Just to appreciate a field of green crops, Or a bed of wild blooming flowers. How often do you pay any attentions, To the singing of the songbirds And the rustling sound of trees greeting the soft summer wind. We miss out because We look down at our 4-inch entertaining box We miss out because We have trains to catch, classes to attend Clients to meet and living to make. So we just shuffle everyday between tasks Ignoring all the gifts that Mother Nature is offering How wasteful. Slow down, people. Please, slow down. Don’t miss out the little wonders of life.
